REASONS FOR ADOPTION        :

Enlightened by ATMA on alternative crops under ID conditions. In the Western part of the District the Groundnut crop is being effected with the Red Hairy Caterpillar & Budnecrosis and becoming major problem and the farmers could not get normal yield. To over come this, the BTT Officers of Madanapalle Block has proposed to conduct a trail plot on Castor crop.
