ANGRAU's Regional Agricultural Research Station, Tirupati, Agricultural
Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Chittoor and Department of
Agriculture, Chittoor jointly organised 'Kisan Mela' at S.V.
University Veterinary College Grounds in Tirupati.
The two-day mela was inaugurated by the Agriculture Minister Sri Vadde
Sobhanadreeswara Rao and the Employment Generation Minister Sri
B.Gopalakrishna Reddy.
Farmers from various parts of the District, Scientists and other officials
participated in the programme. Various Stalls were installed in this mela
by the Departments and other agencies. This is used as a platform for the
farming community to come together and discussed their problems and shared
their knowledge.
